Description: This extraordinary Chinese art coffee table book from Zhejiang University Press is a wonder. It is primarily in Chinese, though there are long translated passages in English as well. The magnificent, weighty dust jacket shows areas of fade, or light splashing with water, and scuffing, foxing, and ruffling of edges. Yet, still displays beautifully. The hardcover book beneath is stunningly covered in copper satin. I’ve never seen its equal. There are two small flaws to the rear cover - a slight dent/cut in the satin, and a mark in another area that darkens the fabric a bit. Still, breathtaking.
