The binding is still sturdy, though there is a small tear at the bottom interior of the front hinge, and a minor separation between the second-to-last and last signatures. The decorative boards are largely clean, though do show some rubbing, and bumping and fraying at their extremities and edges. The edges of the text block, pages and pastedowns show age toning, and there's an occasional smudge to a page, otherwise the text is clean throughout. Note the damp staining to the bottom right fore edges of the covers and pages, primarily visible on the front cover and front and back endpapers.
