Description: This is an original 1929 second edition hardcover copy of "The Practitioner's Otology," written by Gilbert J. Palen & Joseph V. F. Clay and published by Boericke & Tafel of Philadelphia. The topics discussed can be seen on the contents pages in my 10th photo. Over 200 pages of text, supplemented with many photos & illustrations, await the reader. The copy being offered is in fair vintage condition overall. As you'll see in my first six photos, the covers have moderate wear and some stains, and the front part of the book is shifted a little to the right as a result of the placement of a heavy object on top of the book in the past. Inside, the pages have yellowed a little with age but are largely clean, with occasional light stains and smudges and occasional underlining of the text with a pencil. Also notice in my 7th photo that a previous owner's personal information was written with a pen inside the front cover. Finally, the binding remains rather strong.
