In 1928 he began working at the Scientific Research Institute of Anthropology at Moscow State University and the university’s anthropological museum and subdepartment of anthropology. His principal works have been devoted to the ecology, taxonomy, and paleontology of primates, to the origin of man, and to race science. Nesturkh has been awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor and various medals. Pskov (Russian: Псков) is a city in northwestern Russia and the administrative center of Pskov Oblast, located about 20 kilometers (12 mi) east of the Estonian border, on the Velikaya River. Pskov is one of the oldest cities in Russia.
