Description: The Night I Knew (Toothbrushes), 2022Acrylic on Cotton and Linen Blend18 x 24 InchesDM to PurchaseFalling in love is a strange process. There are a lot of big feelings ranging from joy to fear to whatever else. There are also so many different markers of intimacy. One of them, for me at least, is leaving a tooth brush at someone's home.I love you, Lily. Thanks for giving me space to fall in love with you, and space for my toothbrush in your bathroom. I'm glad our toothbrushes can snuggle when we can't. ππππ This piece was featured in Vee CR's solo exhibition, "What is Love?" in July, 2022.
