Description: For sale is The MASTERSOUNDS' "Ballads & Blues," on World Pacific WP-1260, MONO, DG, 1959. With Monk and Buddy Montgomery. SOUND: VGOverall enjoyable although there is light surface noise/tics throughout. One problem area: there is a single skip in A4, "Solar." VINYL: G/VGLight scuffs and hairline marks either side. None appear feel-able. I can't see a source for the skip on A4. Deep-grooved black/silver World Pacific labels. JACKET: VG+/NMThe edges and spine are solid and in nice condition. The corners have a touch of routine wear. Both front and back are unmarked and clean, with routine aging. The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics. Buy-it-now for $10. Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability. Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale. If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
