As a child he sang in the village church choir; at thirteen he joined the band playing the clarinet, and with this instrument he became a professional in small orchestras and jazz bands. In the meantime, his studies at the Milan Conservatory broadened his horizons on classical music, composition and then musicology; and his stay in various countries (France, Spain, Germany, Canada, United States) and the various activities he carried out made him discover new paths in music. For years he has dedicated himself to research, teaching and animation; he currently teaches Semiology of Music at the University of Bologna. He has published various books including: Vocal and musical expression in the liturgy (LDC 1967); Semiotics of Music (Sellerio 1976, 1985); Understanding Music (L'Espresso 1978, Bompiani 1985); Why Music (The School 1979); Musical competence and culture of peace (Clueb 1985).Description(scroll down for the English description)Conditions exactly as pictured.
