Description: For sale is an original oil pastel artwork in the 'style of' Gustav Klimt. This is a reproduction for sale by the artist K.Overbeck. Not a lifeless paper copy, a real work of art by a real artist. 'The Kiss' The combined measurements are 23 1/3" wide x 30 1/3" tall and 2 1/4" in depth. The artwork is 18x26 inches, and mounted in an antique gold painted / gold leafed wood frame, with no glass. ( Shown ) the frame does have some imperfections (pictured), that include some cracking in the corners. These wont affect the stability of the frame, it only affects the façade and adds some 'vintage aging' and personality to the appearance. it has a metal wire in the back for hanging. The canvas is handmade, the frame has been reclaimed and made beautiful. It has metal glazier points holding it to the frame and a paper covering in the back to keep it clean and plain. I can initial the artwork if you would like, but I feel it may rob some of the beauty of it. So, I haven't put my name on it. Please forgive varied color brightness and contrast. Some of my photos are taken inside my home ( which has the lighting of a cave!) or outside in daylight, and may even be too bright.
