I have been using my Talk Box extensively the last few years with my band "The Long Run-Colorado's Tribute to the Eagles" and was frustrated using gaffers tape or cable ties to secure it to my mic stand. It was impossible to make real time adjustments to the position of the tube if needed. And I could not find a product on the market to suit my needs. So necessity being the mother of invention I made myself one.
