Description: For sale is The Incredible Islanders by Tim Moriarity. Found at an estate sale. Book has some stains in the back. The pages are not affected by this except for the stain, all words can still be read. See pictures for details. This book has autographs of members of the Islanders including Lorne Henning, Garry Howatt and Jude Drouin. It appears as if Henning signed it twice as he signed on the inside front cover and again on a picture of players on the bench during a game. These autographs are not authenticated or verified. I highly doubt they are faked. The owner of the estate was formerly from Long Island as am I. Back in those days the Islanders would often appear at local venues like the Mall or local stores to sign autographs. I remember meeting several Islanders players at the grand opening of a muffler store back in 70's. I imagine it was something similar with these autographs. This book is a good read whether you lived through those times as a fan or you want to learn about the early days as the Islanders built a future dynasty.
