The English translation is; La Pallice-Rochelle Embarkation Quay of the Maritime Station. Note transcript: "This is a view of the dock, we lay opposite this pier, x is the place where the German Prisoners are". The postcard's sender was travelling by ship, he notes there were German prisoners being held in a camp across the harbour, the prison is marked with a small "x" above the building.
