Condition: Used - acceptable - this volume has been re-cased in a fine leather binding - some of the original pages were fragile and have been mounted to new sheets - the page edges show heavy aging to color - many internal pages show moisture staining around the edges and in some cases larger areas (see photos) - a sound readable copy. Condition note: We assume the original end papers are missing - there are two sheets at the rear that have reinforced taping at the upper and lower edge - one of these could have been the original ffep - we believe this because it has a long inscription with names. Previous ownership - we believe one of the the previous owners of this volume was Rev. George Dana Boardman (Jr. or as called The Younger). This name is clear in the inscription on the page at the rear. The inscription mentions Philadelphia with the date 1866. Rev. Boardman was a minister in Philadelphia at the First Baptist Church from 1864 - 1894. S14A - E
