Pages are toned with dense notations in pencil to rear pastedowns and some margins. Notes are nonetheless faint and neat, and pages are otherwise clean with no stains, foxing, dog-ears, or tears. Binding is firm throughout, and gutters show no splits. A nice, tight first edition from the Athenaeum Press Series.
