This book is in outstanding condition and has a tiny owner's name on the upper center of the blank second page, a VERY slight exposure of the binding cheesecloth between pp. 1194-5 with NO loosening of the binding and NO loose pages, some very light scuffs on the page edges, a single, very slight discolored spot on the upper center left of the front surface, slight dings on the spine tips and just very light shelfwear and light evidence of gentle browsing but NO other significant flaws! The book is titled The Dartmouth Bible: An Abridgment of the King James Version, with Aids to Its Understanding as History and Literature, and as a Source of Religious Experience--The Old Testament, The Apocrypha, and The New Testament, with Introductions, Prefaces, Notes, and Annotated Maps and it was published by Houghton Mifflin Company in 1950 and is an unstated 1st EDITION copy.A fantastic find, and a beautiful copy of this book!
