Of course, he’s still the bearer of The Darkness as his family curse decrees, but he is trying to distance himself from it, somewhat. David Hine takes the general set up and adds more of a horror theme to things. It’s slow burn stuff, but engaging and not without a few surprises along the way. Even after 100 issues, this remains a good jumping on point and with the success of the current Witchblade series, can a Darkness series be far behind??
