Description: Here is The Crone by Bill Garnett, published by St. Martin's Press in 1987. The book is a 1st printing of this 1st US edition (Sphere released a version in 1984 in the UK). Sporting a great cover by Ken Barr, this title is OOP. The book is in nice shape, with light wear to the edges and corners, which unfortunately really shows up with the dark background. There is a small tear to the right front edge, after the title, as seen in the scans. The 1st and last letters in the title show a little wear to the green foil embossing. Main issue is a hole punched on the cover, something used book stores would do to denote a used copy. It's a shame, as the book is very glossy still. Inside pages are in nice shape, with no writing or stamps, and the inside covers are showing some light toning. A very presentable, solid copy for 80s horror paperback collectors.
