Published by Imprint Society. Copyright and print date 1970. Of 1950 copies, this is unnumbered and signed by the illustrator. Hand-rubbed natural cowhide covers have a few barely noticeable light areas. Lettered and decorated in bright gilt. The covers are unworn. Hinges are intact and binding is tight. The interior is in fine condition, without flaws. Illustrated throughout with pen and wash illustrations. The slipcase is clean and intact, with just gentle rubs at the opening's corners. This covers many types of sport and entertaining pastimes from outdoor sports such as archery, riding, billiards, to board games and card games. Originally published in 1674, many of the games are still in existence, either in original or modified form.
