Several pages have a slight dog-ear but no bend. It almost looks as if someone started to bookmark them and then changed their mind. There are two embossed personal library stamps. Cover is overall nice shape, with mild handling wear, a bit of bumping, light soil, fading of the gilded letters 1st book club edition signified by "blind stamp" tiny impressed dimple on rear bottom right corner of black hardcover board (shown in photo) So, this is a VERY early edition, which was printed in the very first month of the book's publication. Book measures 8 1/8 in x 5 1/2 in Would make a gift or addition to your collection. I describe and list items to the best of my ability, but items are sold as is - please examine photos carefully.
