Description: This is a brand new release of an LA cow-punk, range-rock, prairie-metal, country-rock alternative band called The Buzzards. It features Will Ray of the Hellecasters on lead guitar as well as producer. The music is classified as alternative country, and the CD has 14 cuts. Some of the tunes have Grateful Dead type jams with Will really stretching out and leading the band into new uncharted territory. Most of the songs were written by Will Ray and Jim Beus and are really cool. Kinda like Roy Orbison meets the Rolling Stones meets the Byrds, on Johnny Cash's back porch during a full moon with an 8.2 earthquake going on. Really good songs, really good picking.Will's guitar playing on this disc contains elements of Danny Gatton, Jerry Garcia, Duane Allman, Roy Buchanan, Clarence White, Chet Atkins and Mike Bloomfield throughout.
