This movie poster is not a reprint nor a reproduction. The movie stars Jason Evers, Virginia Leith, Leslie Daniel, Adele Lamont, Bruce Brighton, Lola Mason, Bonnie Sharie, Bruce Kerr, Paula Maurice, Marilyn Hanold, Arny Freeman, Doris Brent, and Eddie Carmel. It was directed by Joseph Green. The artwork is by Reynold Brown. This unrestored movie poster is Folded and measure 27" x 41". Most original movie posters pre-1985 are Folded. This is not considered a flaw or defect.(Condition Description continued from above)There is no separation at any of the 3 cross Folds or at any of the Fold lines - to me this is an important plus as the lack of separation indicates that the poster has not experienced severe wear. There is no wear - showing up as white showing thru - at the 3 cross Folds or any Fold lines. I forgot to write it down, but I believe this original has a low to low/medium gloss. The original movie poster is graded C8, Very Fine. Original movie posters are graded as follows: C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine), C7 (Fine/Very Fine), C6 (Fine or Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), etc. It is difficult to find any pre-1985 original movie posters graded C10 (Mint). This original movie poster has a strong and clean appearance with great color and images. The plethora (that word as used in the movie THE THREE AMIGOS :)) of pin holes along the borders and with some in the image area kept this original from being a C8.5 Very Fine to Near Mint grade. Of course, we consider all flaws when grading a poster, but without the pin holes this would be a C8.5 easily. Strangely, but true, the pin holes are unobtrusive at a normal viewing distance; by "unobtrusive" we mean that they do not detract from the poster's excellent appearance and are not even visible when viewing the poster at a normal viewing distance or even closer. But they are there and thus a C8 grade. We believe that this original 1962 movie poster THE BRAIN THAT WOULDN'T DIE has excellent value and excellent investment value. Original movie posters of these classic 1950s and 1960s horror and sci-fi movies are always in demand from collectors and fans alike.
