Description: The Beatles George Harrison, Paul McCartney Ringo Starr signed pencildrawing of The Beatles in their Sgt. Pepper's outfits by storyboard and animation director Jack Stokes for the movie Yellow Submarine, who also signed as well. Signed for the “Lots Of Ink" charity auction at Planet Hollywood in association with Sotheby's in London on March 27th 2001 to benefit the Norwood Ravenswood and Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital’s. This is one of, if not the last item to be signed by George, Paul and Ringo, as George would sadly passed on later that year. The drawing was originally signed by Paul and Jack Stokes. When George andRingo were contacted about the auction and asked if they would sign the drawingalso, they gladly obliged. George also added the Sanskrit symbol for "Om" after his signature as well as drawing the arrow from Paul’s signature to Paul's character, as Paul signed over Ringo’s character when he signed. Originally the piece was to be signed by Paul and Jack Stokes (who donated the drawing) and as it's described in the original auction (see image of cover) catalog when it went to print. The auction catalog is included with this sale. A supplement page was then made about the George and Ringo signatures being added to the drawing (see copy of page) and the supplement was added with the auction catalog the day of the auction. The page reads Addition to Lot 51 “This unique piece of Beatles memorabilia has now been signed by not only Sir Paul McCartney, as described in the auction catalogue, but also Ringo Starr and George Harrison. Never before available, this unrivaled item is now even more exclusiveand rare." This George, Paul and Ringo signed storyboard comes with a letter of authenticity from Frank Caiazzo (see image) and is guaranteed to be passed any other legitimate autograph authenticator. The storyboard paper itself measures 10" X 13". There are some light handling marks and folds to the storyboard paper, nothing earth shattering whatsoever, especially for something as rare as this is (see scans). ****Please note: The images that show the storyboard matted, are just there to showpeople how awesome it would look framed.
