Description: The A.B.C. Murders by Agatha Christie. Published in 1936 by Dodd, Mead. This is a first US edition, first printing. Missing the rare dust jacket. The book is in good only condition for its age. The spine and boards are soiled, bumped, rubbed, worn (with fraying and exposed cardboard at tips), etc. Pastedowns, along with a few other pages, have large rental library stamp present. Ffep has number penciled on it, along with visible writing that was erased. Rear free endpaper has chip missing at lower corner, offsetting from rental library stamp on rear pastedown, as well as a few large creases, which are also present on a handful of other pages near the rear of the book. Can see webbing between rear free endpaper and first blank page at rear but all pages are present and secure. Other pages throughout have foxing, some soiling, dog eared creases, minor chipping, etc. Overall, still a readable filler copy of a collectible 1st edition title that is becoming increasingly difficult to find.
