You put a ball and tee into the Tee Helper's cup, fold the unit and the jaws will close, locking both in place. With the Green model. secure the arms with the velcro strap and you can carry the unit to the next tee box. Once at the tee, hold the trigger, unstrap the velcro, unfold the Teehelper and you're ready to insert the tee into the turf with the ball on top. With the Red model. secure the arms with the rotating, locking clasp. Then you can carry the unit to the next tee box. Once at the tee, hold the trigger, open the clasp, unfold the Teehelper, re-engage the clasp and you're ready to insert the tee into the turf with the ball on top. The new Pro Plus can be used on the green to place a marker and then pick up your ball. When you are ready to putt, replace your ball and pick up your marker. Fold & secure your Tee Helper and lay it on the green. After sinking your putt, swoop up the Tee Helper Pro Plus up by putting the shaft or putter head through the jaws. Then use the Tee Helper to retrieve your ball from the cup. The Tee Helper Pro Plus has a magnet to pick a steel ball marker on the green and a led light if you play night or twilight golf....(or should you need it, to see and retrieve your keys under your car after the 19th hole.)
