Description: Technofix Terra Luna tin toy 1951 in fair cosmetic condition. This German made toy is now over 70 years old and features a wonderful postwar vision of a utopian society which is yet to be realized. The tin lithograph displays futuristic flying vehicles and earth to moon travel. This Terra Luna does not wind. It appears to be fully wound but will not unwind. It is also missing the cars which travel around their track so the price reflects this. You can find functional Terra Lunas but they are often north of $1000. This piece functions as a display if you desire. The lithograph seems a bit faded but there are no major defects in the tin. The metal wire support stands have surface rust but are stable. All visible rust is surface rust only. This has likely been displayed for decades, and will continue to be displayed for many decades to come. Please see the close ups of the pictures for detail. Sold as is. An economical way to add to your space toy collection if you need this piece.
