Description: Up for sale here is this complete rebuild kit for the Technics SL-1200 M3D turntable. This is all the capacitors you need to replace all of the electrolytic capacitors in your turntable. Leaky capacitors can damage the IC chips, so even if your turntable is working, you should still recap it. Please note that this kit is for the SL-1200 M3D only. It will not work on the other versions. I have a kit for the SL-1200 Mk1 (the original one) available here, and one available for the SL-1200 Mk2 here. This kit includes replacements for all 21 electrolytic capacitors on the boards, plus replacements for the D3 and D301 zener diodes. These are extremely high-quality parts, the same ones I use when I work on vintage stereo gear. Capacitors are Nichicon PW, Panasonic FC, Wima film, and one Supertech axial capacitor. I will include fairly basic instructions, but this is moderately complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. The instructions will include a link to download a free service manual, which will have instructions on how to open up your turntable. Please see my pictures for details.
