Description: Here is a rare X-1000r in beautiful cosmetic condition for its age. Was tested with a reel and is fast forwarding and rewinding smoothly and operstion seems fine but play is not working because the pinch rollers does not engage. I called a shop and they said it’s a very simple (and common issue with these) and they get gummed up or stuck in place from sitting for a bit because of the grease that was used. They told me how to clean it but I will leave that to the future owner. Otherwise the thing looks amazing and the heads are great with minimal wear as well. Getting rare to find these beautiful old decks in this condition. Local delivery (within 100 miles) or pickup preferred but willing to ship too.
