Description: Well, these were bought new by a friend who shared a storage unit with me, he later passed away. These are a image intensifier type night vision binocular set, TASCO brand, model NV356 look great with the case, optics seem fine BUT the kicker is, they dont turn on. The battery compartments are clean, no corrosion, so when I put a pair of new AA batteries in and hit the switch, I do not hear any inverter whine and the "screens" do not light up. Its like it has a bad "ON-OFF" switch (feels a little funky, not really a positive "Click-Click" action). I figure the thing is not powering up, and I momentarily thought of "digging in" to see if was sometime I could fix, but I do not see anyway of getting into it, and I have plenty of other stuff that I do know something about that needs fixing. I dont know a lot about these, maybe figure gen II NV, might be made in Russia for all I know. Any questions, please ask.
