This was a particularly attractive edition, featuring gilt-impressed green cloth boards, tissue-protected frontispiece, and gilt page edges all the way around (to keep dust out.)Boards are edgeworn with a 2-inch split in the lower right edge spine cloth (please see pics). Brown endpages are intact and uninscribed. Page 38 illustration has been darkened by the offset of a newspaper clipping that was once kept there. Binding is very tight and square.
