Description: You are looking at a rare Tag Heuer. This is the black faced Tag Heuer 980.033 men's 1000 series watch. This watch is a true survivor. These models were made for a very short time. They are in high demand due to their vintage look. I am a Tag Heuer collector and I own over 225 Tag Heuer watches. I currently have quite a few for sale. It was simply time to clean out the closet. It is a men's size TAG watch with a case size of about 38mm (41mm crown included). The crystal is in good condition with light scratches. There are scratches, wear, and oxidation on the case. The back casing is in good condition with typical light wear scratches. The bracelet is the stainless steel jubilee band. It is in very good to excellent condition with light scratches. The clasp and surrounding area is in excellent condition with light scratches. The bezel is in excellent condition with fine scratches. It has an original Heuer crown. The hands and hour markers look great. I would rate this true survivor as a solid 8 out of 10 in condition. This is one of the nicest examples of a 980.033 I have seen. The watch is all original and will fit up to a 7.25 inch wrist. If you need extra links I would be willing to sell you some at $50 per link. I have access to them from a local jewelry store. The bezel turns and clicks in the counter clockwise direction, as it should. It is quartz movement and 200 meters water resistant. I always recommend having seals tested before wearing in water.
