Vehicles still using using a points type ignition system, a 12v jumper wire will need to be run to and used to power this upgraded tachometer circuit board. It is labeled with 12v, coil signal, and ground wire connections for an easier install. After the tachometer is removed from the gauge cluster, it is an easy task to unbolt the old circuit board and install the new one.
