Description: This auction is for the original artwork by Jack Higgins for his Chicago Sun-Times editorial cartoon dated 1982. (The second year Jack Higgins worked for the Chicago Sun-Times) The artwork deals with the Chicago Park District Superintendent and problems with funding for Chicago museums. The artwork measures approx. 11-3/4" x 17-5/8". This is the original artwork that Jack Higgins created. The artwork is in good condition - there are a few small marks/smudges on the art - there are some corrections made by the artist as he perfected the artwork - there are some editor's notes written on the back - on the back there is some spots where ink from other pieces of his artwork that were stored underneath this one - on the back at the bottom there is remnants of a sticker at the bottom with a couple piece of cellophane tape around it. A NICE, ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECE OF EDITORIAL ARTWORK THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED! When packed, this will ship at the 2 pound rate - check the postage calculator.
