Description: These cards were sent by the Swiss PTT to customers, with cancelled stamps affixed inside, late each year. They are collectable and are listed in the Swiss catalog, published by SBK. This group of 17 is in the large format, and the stamps inside are cancelled with special cancelers, in the latter part of the year of mailing. For example, the card for New Year 1993 contains 4 stamps cancelled August 25, 1992. The SBK catalog value of these cards totals 154.5 SFr (about $170). A copy of the relevant page of the SBK catalog is shown in one of the images. Such "Offizielle Glückwunschkarten" were first sent in1965, and discontinued after 2011. The group included in this lot are in the range #29 to #47, with only 3 missing (#29, #41, and #42)
