Description: Featured in this listing is a vintage miniature cabinet vase that I believe was made by the Brush-McCoy Pottery Co. The bulbous vase has a collared rim and two "ear" handles. Other characteristics that resemble Brush-McCoy pottery include the matte underglaze with a molded floral motif that has been decorated with different colors of drip glaze, as well as the base rim that is unglazed. This piece is unmarked but is of a style that was produced in the 1930s. It is in excellent condition with no chips, no cracks, very-light crazing and no repairs. There are, however, several tiny glaze pinholes and extraneous glazed-over clay "tags" inside the top rim edge along with a few stray marks. There is also light peppering in the glaze. This vase is 3-3/4" tall, 2-1/4" wide at the collared rim, and 4-1/4" wide at the body. There is evidence of gentle use, but the piece is relatively clean both inside and out. Check out all 10 photos! This charming miniature pot would make a beautiful addition to any American art pottery collection. Check out my other pottery listings!
