Swagman Pottery Bell - Australian Farm Homestead with Kangaroo Koala & Gumnuts Description Wonderful Swagman Pottery Bell for your consideration. Has an absolutely gorgeous Australian homestead scene to the front. A kangaroo skips across the foreground of the scene and below is an "Australia" sign. The sturdy handle to the bell is in the form of a tree stump upon which two koalas are nestled. Trailing down from the stump towards the homestead scene is the branch of a gumtree complete with gumnuts. As with the majority of Swagman Pottery pieces, raw, earthy tones found in the ancient Australian landscape have been used. The result is stunning! This beautiful piece is unsigned. Early Swagman Pottery pieces were unmarked and this indicates that the bell is one of the earlier pieces dating to the early 1980's. Measures 7cm in diameter and stands 11.5cm in height. Presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. I have been unable to fault this piece.
