Description: I hand-picked pen shells from Sanibel Island in Florida. The aurora borealis finish adds a touch of elegance to these natural shells, making them perfect for crafting, Jewelry, making or displaying. In this lot, there are multiple pieces and 2 full pen shells. I washed the shells and dipped in acid magic to bring out the color. The shells were wet when I took the pictures and The color is magnificent. When they dry, the color is less vibrant. I read that using mineral oil will once again bring out the natural rainbow color of the shells. I will ship by wrapping them in bubble wrap and placing them in a box but I cannot guarantee that the 2 full pen shells will survive without breaking as these are very delicate and used primarily for jewelry making or crafting.
