Description: Meet our new survival bracelets! We believe these are the ultimate, multi-purpose survival bracelets out there. These bracelets include a Stainless Steel survival card which includes a screwdriver x4, tinder scraper, adjustable wrench and 3 hexagonal bits. We wanted a bracelet which was more suited for everyday carry, we feel the addition of these tools make this possible. The bracelets also include a mini ferro rod and striker. Don’t be fooled by its size! With proper preparation and technique this ferro rod will definitely get your fire started with no problems! The tinder scraper on the survival card is also a useful addition. It makes it easy to process tinder in the field if you find yourself without your knife. These bracelets are made using 3.2m (10.5 feet) of 550 cord which has a 7-strand parachute cord core. 550 paracord is invaluable in the field and has a range of uses including creating hunting, first-aid, shelter building, and carrying. The cord is strong enough to carry objects up to 250kg (550lb) The pea-less 120 decibel whistle can be heard from miles away. No moving metal parts also makes it very reliable, ensuring it will work when you need them most! All of the components of the bracelet are waterproof. Details• Includes Stainless Steel Survival Card (screwdriver, tinder scraper, adjustable wrench, hexagonal bits)• Includes ferro rod & striker, whistle, thermometer, compass & survival card• Made using 3.2M of 550 Paracord• Pea-less 120 decibel whistle• All of the components are waterproof Why is this an essential piece of kit? Imagine you are camping and decide to take the kayak downstream before dark. You did not plan to venture off far, so dressed lightly and didn’t pack much kit. A few miles downstream you hit a rock and get thrown out of the kayak, smashing your leg upon impact. Realising the sun is starting to set and the temperature drop, all you have on you is the survival bracelet. After assessing the situation, and deciding walking back is too risky in the dark, especially with a badly injured leg you decide to stay put. With the temperature dropping fire is essential. After sourcing some fuel, you use your tinder scraper to process the wood into shavings and the ferro rod to get a fire started. Using the bracelets 500 cord you create a basic lean-to shelter and hang up your wet clothes for drying. Now sheltered from the elements, you can create a make shift leg splint using the cord and a piece of straight wood and start to signal for help using the whistle. If no one comes to your rescue, you follow the river back to camp with the aid of your compass. Lets hope it never gets to this! But there is defiantly a peace of mind knowing you will never be without the necessary means to survive if you all on you is the bracelet! Thanks for your interest in our products!
