Description: This particular Suriname 10 gulden banknote issued in 2000 is in uncirculated condition. It features the Anthracothorax viridigula or a green-throated mango bird. The National Emblem of Suriname, a map, trees, and Nymphalid butterflies are also visible. It also bears a stag beetle as its registration device. On the reverse of this 140 x 70 mm paper bill are the headquarters building of the Central Bank van Suriname at the Waterkant in Paramaribo, scarlet star flowers which is also known as Guzmania lingulata, and the Central bank seal. The banknote has a windowed security thread with a demetallized CBVS 10. Its watermarks consist of an image of the bank headquarters and an electrotype CBVS.
