Description: Genuine vintage set of vintage brass mixer taps, lever operated. Made in England by the Barking Brassware Company and certified for use by the Edinburgh Water Works in 1959. Mechanical screw turn levers. Deck mounted with 1/2" BSP feed pipes. Approximately 7" between feed pipe centres and 7" of spout reach. 6" lever length. Solid brass. Gently buffed to yield a gleaming finish. Fully refurbished and guaranteed for 5 years. All our taps have had the following work completed: - Old finish chemically removed by licensed and environmentally responsible local firm- Tap seats re-machined to obviate the risk of slow drips, as is common on old taps - New compressed fibre washers cut to size by hand using imperial wad punches on a fly press- Spindles lathe turned to meet specific tolerances- Rubber washers replaced- Gland nut packing repacked in the traditional method using graphite string.
