The Jimmy Olsen story is titled "A Big Thing in a Deep Scottish Lake!”, with script by Jack Kirby, art by Jack Kirby (pencils) and Vince Colletta (inks) [Note: Murphy Anderson touched up faces of Superman and Jimmy Olsen]; Morgan Edge sends Jimmy and the Newsboy Legion to Scotland in search of a sea monster, while Superman and Guardian encounter trouble at the club called Cosmic Carousel. This issue also has a two-page Strange Stories from the D.N.A. Project titled “The Torn Photograph” written and drawn by Jack Kirby. This was part of Jack Kirby’s Fourth World saga along with New Gods, Mister Miracle, and Forever People. This comic also reprints the fourth Guardian and Newsboy Legion story from Star Spangled Comics #10 (July 1942) titled “Kings for a Day”, with art and story from the legendary team of Jack Kirby and Joe Simon. The Newsboy Legion is selected to take over the position of several city officials for a day. Mark Mangle and his mob plan to take advantage of that day to commit several crimes, that the Newsboys stop. The comic is graded 6.0 Fine and comes bagged and boarded for protection and preservation.
