Description: Up for auction is a HIGH GRADE copy of SUPERBOY #169 from 1970 featuring the death of Clark Kent as well a Lex Luthor appearance and the origin of Superboy's costume. Book is complete, flat, clean, crease and stain-free, with cover and centerfold attached, off-white pages, sharp corners, store date stamp on the back, and excellent cover gloss. There is some very light spine wear consisting of a few very light stress lines and that's about it. A extremely sharp looking book, I would grade it as a NM-, however someone had used a pencil to mark a line between DC and Superboy on the indicia on the upper left front cover leaving a pencil mark and impression on the front cover. As such, call ot a VF. This will make an excellent addition to your collection.
