Description: For sale is a really nice large wall plate made by Meissen in the 20th century . It is hand painted with a large Kakiemon design including the banded hedge with lots of flowers coming out of it and a butterfly above them. Simple gold trim to the edge. The Kakiemon colors and designs are among my all time favorites! A truly stunning plate! The piece is 1.25 inches tall and 12.5 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the crossed swords in under glaze blue (first choice), a blue line along the edge and some black numbers/letters as shown. There is also a hanger attached to it so one could hang it easily on a wall.
