Super Rare NIB Red Wing 8175 6” Oro Russet Leather Moc Toe Boots Mens 8E

Description: SUPER RARE - NEW in box Red Wing 8175 unlined “Oro-Russet” leather moc toe men’s 6” boots. Size 8 E. Beautiful and rare pair of boots in a lesser seen leather that patinas incredibly. I believe this model is/was a Japan only release and are seldom seen in the USA. They are very similar to other Red Wing “Roughneck” models with the Vibram full lug sole. Also similar to the 8209 Norway Moc however they lack that model’s storm welt, as these just have a regular flat leather Goodyear welt. Further, because of the way the box is marked and the production date (11/2015) I believe these may have been a sample pair of some sort. Despite the production date on these, the leather is soft and supple, and doesn’t feel or look different than any other pair of freshly manufactured Red Wing boots. Please research what size you need before purchasing… Most people size down half to one full size from their sneaker size. Absolutely iconic boot. Made in USA. Please note: Red Wing Oro Russet leather is pretty “red” until it develops some patina. Make sure you’re okay with that! Important! Please note these are marked as factory seconds. I don’t see anything significantly wrong with them other than some marks here and there which look more like minor handling/packaging scuffs and scratches. I’ve provided pictures of what look like the worst of these marks. All of it is minor and will blend right in with the rest of the boot exterior after a few wears. Also, the outside of the tongue on both does have some impressions from the laces. Not sure if this is because these were stored for so long in a box tied or if, again as mentioned previously, these were some type of sample boot that may have been worn once or twice. However, the soles indicate these were never worn significantly and definitely never outside. Please examine photos carefully to ensure you understand what you’re getting. The pair of boots in the photographs is the actual pair you will receive.
