This is a rare and extremely hard to find child sized version of the famous Chi-Chi's birthday celebration sombrero. The hat measures approximately 13" long by 12" wide and 5" deep versus that adult sized ones that measure about 20" long by 18" wide and 7" deep. ConditionThe sombrero is clean and in good condition with only normal wear such as the red vinyl edging is split at two different spots around the brim and fraying on the ends of the chin cord. I worked at a Chi-Chi's for about 4 years back in the day and have a bunch of genuine Chi-Chi's items that I collected over the years. I also had the opportunity of grabbing any leftover merchandise after everything was auctioned off following their closure. In addition to the items I purchased at the auction I was given the keys to the building from the auction company to allow the winning bidders to come in and pick up their purchases over the next 3 days. I was told that anything that wasn't bid on I was able to take if I wanted to. I'm keeping all of my Chi-Chi's pins, my name tag, menus, and other things but I'm finally parting with items that I have duplicates of. A great item to own for the memories of those visits in to Chi-Chi's to celebrate a birthday and have the staff come to the table and sing to you!
