Description: Offered is the October, 1938 edition of "Sunset" magazine, the lifestyle magazine of the Western US, featuring the typical stories on architecture, gardening and living in the West. There are many great ads for the products of the day, including several full-page color ones for Wool O' the West Blankets, Mazola Oil and Ethyl gasoline additive that features three bright blue 1938 cars (see photo #7). This may be a rare find; at the time of original listing I could not find any other copies of the October, 1938 issue for sale on eBay. The magazine is approx. 11 1/2" x 8 1/2". It is in very good condition. I see no torn pages and all of the pages are well-attached to the staples except for the four center pages, detached but present.
