Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This adorable little doll is a Sun Rubber “Sunbabe So-Wee” drink and wet baby doll, which was made in 1957, making her approximately 67 years old at the time of this writing. She measures approximately 10” tall and is marked “Sunbabe So-Wee Ruth E. Newton New York, NY” on her neck and “The Sun Rubber Co. 1957” on her back. She has a one-piece body with a swivel head and slightly bent arms and baby doll legs. She has molded brown hair with little raised curls, painted light brown eyebrows, beautiful clear blue-gray stationary eyes, a little button nose, puffy rosy cheeks, and an open “bottle” mouth with watermelon-colored lips. She also has a squeaker on her back that still works. Her rubber body is still in very good condition considering her age. Her fingers and toes are still intact and there are no tears or rips in her skin. Her paint is still in pretty good condition, but does have some fading in her hair coloring. She also has an “ink” mark above her left eye, but I was unable to remove it. Her case shows a bit of wear on the outside, but is in good condition on the inside. She comes with a new replacement multi-color romper, vintage pin/diaper, white lacy socks, plastic baby bottle, yellow duck, 2 vintage blankets and a pillow case from the 1950s, and her vintage Sunbabe carry case with a lamb, duck, bunny and birds on the lid to use as storage.
