Description: This large, twice-censored(on the front; in Stuttgart and Constantinople!), business cover was sent from Stuttgart, Germany, to Constantinople, Turkey, on November 14, 1917! It was delivered to an ethnic Greek editor of a music magazine then staying at a hotel owned by an ethic Armenian with the last name of Totaklian! To continue, the blue, 20-Pfennig German, "Germania," issue is in fair-good condition. It has two pulled perfs. There is also some staining on it from gum residue and/or toning. The machine cancel from the Stuttgart P.O. is quite fine! The mail arrive in Constantinople on November 19, and received a pretty great, transit machine CDS! There are two, pretty good cancels from Ottoman Empire P.Os. The bilingual one is most likely another transit cancel. The one in Turkish is most likely the receiving cancel. Lastly, as for the condition of the envelope, it's fair-good. The front is pretty clean! The back does have some stains on it, and a lot of arithmetic! The back flap is mostly intact, but does have some tears in it caused when it was initially opened. Noted imperfections aside, this remains a neat piece of business mail sent from Germany to Constantinople, Turkey, in 1917!
