Three woman are seated at the base of a tree outdoors within a wooded landscape with a small body of water behind. Illegibly signed low left and verso this work was retailed by the Universal Art Gallery in Moscow as seen stamped verso and is dated 1981. Executed on paper measuring roughly 11 x 8 inches the gold wood frame measures 17.75 x 14 inches making this work ready to be hung and enjoyed. This impressionist painting is extremely well executed and highly attractive showing such a lovely late 19th century style similar to works by Paul Cezanne. The condition of the painting does show one tear low center but the rest of the work is very good and its frame also shows some loss of gilt. Verso indicates this work previously being part of the collection of John and Vicki Aver of London.
