The artistry, and the design--complimentary aurene colors in blue-green tones on an iridescent lighter translucent ground make it a stunner! This special piece has a signature etched into the base, Maytum Studio, and is dated 1993. Stands 5½-inches tall. Wick and holder included. The holder has slight base chipping (see photo). Slight chip to the added wick holder base tip. • DISCUSSION: Gorgeous hand-made, hot-blown oil lamp/paperweight by Maytum Studio, of Boulder, Colorado. The artistry, and the design--complimentary colors in beautiful light aurene lustrous tones, iridescent on a lighter ground make this lamp a stunner on a light or dark background! Shown also in various lighting conditions to exhibit more of its range of visual delight! This special piece has a signature etched into the base, Maytum Studio, dated 1993, and number-coded. Stands 5½-inches tall. Pontil/base is ground-flat & then concave and highly polished, showing shelf wear. Wick and glass holder included. The holder has a slightly chipped bottom tip which does not affect its appearance or function when installed. Excellent addition to an art glass, oil lamp, or paperweight collection, or a thoughtful gift for a special person--including yourself! FULL CONDITION REPORT: We thoroughly inspected this piece and found that no cracks, chips, nicks, scuffs, flea bites, flakes, hairlines, significant scratches (located other than weight-bearing base), repairs, stains, residue, evidence of grinding or signs of restoration could be seen or felt. Any natural indentations, bubbles, tool marks, carbon/ash deposits, and/or any other natural textural features are all original and normal for hand-blown glass. Wear to the base is normal and consistent with age. the wick holder has been slightly chipped at the bottom but it doesn't affect function or appearance when installed as designed.
