Description: Stunning silk trim dating from 1860-1880 most likely from Lyon. Gorgeous gold and blue silk threads. Condition is outstanding. Very rare to find blues and this is in what I would qualify as museum quality condition. There are a few loose threads from where it was previously attached to another textile. I have removed most but there may still be a few noticeable in photos. Please see photos and use zoom for additional item condition and detail. I am selling this lovely trim by the yard. Multiple yards will be sent uncut. Each quality purchased will have Approximate measurements 36” X 2.75” I do my best to accurately describe condition and point out major flaws, but condition is seldom perfect as one would expect from a 100 year old textile. Small marks and flaws should be expected.
