Description: This is superb antique German needlepoint of "A River, Castle And Landscape Scene". On the back is information that it is by Mrs. Betty Schellhass, wife of Heyling Friedrich Schellhass, Bremen, Germany and done between 1810 and 1820. This needlepoint has incredible detail and is matted and housed in a gold tone frame that is missing the glass cover. The dimensions are: Frame: 15.0 inches wide, 12.0 inches tall and 1.25 inches deep. Needlepoint: 5.75 inches wide and 3.75 inches tall.
